We were recently contracted by Jeremy to do some menu navigation tab updates and improvements. He also asked for some help with Search Engine Optimization. Like many others on the web his website suffers mostly from invalid non-semantic markup, and non-external CSS and Javascript filing, but without a current budget to rework his code, we made several small changes that should help his site out. The one thing that we wanted to do and just couldn’t (without charging more money) was to add a DOCTYPE. When a DOCTYPE was added several issues arose due to his tabled layout and HTML styling. We were able, however, to optimize his title and meta tags correctly and add some site registration. His site can be viewed at http://www.jmcculloughlaw.com
